I had my sleeve finished last night. It feels so good to have it done after 2 years of working on it off and on. Just gotta say that Phil Colvin is the dude. He really took my ideas and made them so much better than I even thought. So here is the plug… Memorial Tattoo is the place to go. Phil or any of the other guys and girl are amazing.

I’ve been messing with my blog theme lately. I’m moving some things around. Starting to add some pages and such. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep the blog at the home page or if I might move it. Just some stuff I’m kicking around.

I’m in the middle of a long weekend and it’s great! I had Friday off so I could close on the house. Then I only had to work a half day yesterday. It’s Sunday today. So no work. And then the holiday tomorrow. I’m pretty set!

It seems I just signed my name to a bunch of papers that say I can have this awesome house if I make a certain payment every month for 30 years. hahaha!

I’m really stoked right now about it. It’s going to be such a great thing for Tiffany and me. It’s great financially. It’s great musically. And it’s just rad!

Now here is the part that I might post pics. But I really don’t know if any of you out there are creepers, so I won’t do that. =)

I played drums at Oak Leaf this past weekend. It was a blast. We played some awesome stuff. Here are some photos…

I jail broke my iPhone last week. I’m not sure if I really like it yet. But I can do some cool stuff so far. But I don’t know if there are any really useful apps that I have found yet.

I will just have to keep you posted!

Just had an idea to start really blogging about music a little more hardcore. But I won’t be doing it here. I’m keeping kyletroop.com for my own personal stuff and random crap that somehow comes out of my mind.

Well it looks like the first post of 2010 is going to be a Friday 5!

1. I had a great tie at the Steel’s house last night. They are good people.

2. Hopefully in a week from today I will be closing on a new house.

3. Laguna Beach is playing on my TV right now. I kinda want to blow my brains out a little bit.

4. Looks like I’ll be eating sushi tomorrow. I’m pretty excited.

5. I’m ready to finish my sleeve.

I wanted to take just a minute to wish everyone a happy new year.

This year I have done some rad things and have been really blessed. First off, I am so stoked that I married Tiffany. She is the raddest person I know. I lost out on 2 houses to buy, only to end up finding an even better one. And I’ve met/gotten to know a lot of people that are really awesome.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe evening.

Last weekend I went into the studio and recorded some drum tracks for a friend. It has been a long time since I really recorded anything. So it was a good time. I was also able to play a new snare I bought about a month ago. So that was really cool. I love playing drums.

Turns out that the guy who owned the studio and recorded me that day was the same guy who was the engineer for the song “Whoomp There It Is”. How rad is that!?!?

1. I was in bed at 8:30 last night and woke up at 7 this morning. I’m still tired. ha!

2. I think I’d like a Boston Terrier. A friend of mine has one named Reptar.

3. I’m pretty bored at work today. The rain is keeping everyone from coming in.

4. Have I mentioned I’m tired?

5. Words With Friends is an iPhone app that I am addicted to at the moment.
